Composition

Fish oils mostly contain triglycerides of fatty acids (glycerol that is combines with 3 different or similar acid molecules) with various amounts of wax esters, glycerol ethers, and phospholipids. These oils contain a great range of the long chain fatty acids having the number of carbon atoms that primarily range from 14-22, and a high level of reactivity (unsaturated) that ranges up to 6 double bonds for each molecule.

The composition found in the fish oil is almost the same as of those found in emu oil.
